What is Book Blitz?

• Book Blitz is a literacy competition for 6th-8th graders designed to encourage reading outside of the school curriculum.
• Students read books from a list of 20 predetermined books (list below), form teams, and compete using their collective knowledge of the content of the books (Family Feud style).
• The top 2 teams at DPMS will be able to participate in a district-wide competition!​

How do I join?

• Students who are interested MUST attend the orientation meeting held in October/November in order to participate.
• ​After attending the orientation meeting, students can sign up to join!​

Can I join with friends?

• Yes! Groups are comprised of 3-5 students from DPMS.
• Students can build their own groups or Ms. Arbon can assign students to groups.
