Monday-Thursday: 7:20am-3:10pm
Friday: 7:20am-1:00pm

Policies & Procedures

Book Checkout:
  • 4 books can be checked out at a time.
  • Books are checked out for 2 week periods.
  • Books can be renewed in-person or online using Destiny.
  • Students log into Destiny using the same login and password as a school computer.
Fines/Lost Books:
  • 10¢ per day/per book if overdue- holidays and weekends are excluded. 
  • ​A student must pay for any borrowed books that were damaged or lost. 
  • Fines are paid in the library.
  • Cash or checks are accepted. 
  • Checks made out to DPMS or Draper Park Middle School.
Students in the Library:
  • ​Students are welcome in the library before school, during lunch, and after school.
  • Lunch passes must be picked up before A lunch in order to visit the library during lunch.
  • Students should keep their voices down and not distract others while in the library.
  • No food/drink in the library.
  • Students should be respectful of others, library property, and library materials while visiting the library.
Printing:
  • Students are able to use the library printer to print out school related material.
  • The printer is black & white only- no color ink. 
  • Printing is FREE!
